Hey Ladies,
At annual meeting this past July I moderated the rap session for women with bleeding disorders. During this discussion someone mentioned how they wished that there were MASAC recommendations for women with bleeding disorders. Well.....Here they are!! When I heard that these were published I almost cried since I know that it has been a battle for a loooooong time to even establish that women can have bleeding disorders. Now look where we are! Here's to the hope that soon we won't meet any more young women who had a hystrectomy because of heavy periods!
