Stop The Bleeding! is a comedic animated series following a ragtag group of bleeding disorders advocates who work together to serve their community. This series was created in 2012 by Patrick James Lynch, with the mission of using entertainment to raise awareness and educate others about hemophilia and other bleeding disorders. Throughout the series, the show explores urgent and critical issues faced by patients, families, and clinicians.
Season 11 of this series featured animated characters named Factor 8, Factor 9, and Factor 10, who worked together to complete the clotting cascade and stop a bleed. The latest season of the show introduces a pair of twins, Rachel and Riley, who have von Willebrand disease. This dynamic duo grows tired of not feeling heard or understood by their providers and those around them. So they embark on a mission to find their missing von Willebrand Factor (vWF), so they can get back to their normal teenage lives. Over the course of five episodes, the girls take on their challenging mission to find vWF, undergoing obstacles but also making new friends along the way.
Will Riley and Rachel find their missing vWF? Watch the latest season of Stop the Bleeding! to find out!
